Pine Creek Conservation Area

The Bonneville Power Administration purchased this 35,000 acre area from ranchers in Wheeler County, Oregon. It is intended to replace similar habitat that was covered when the BPA's dams were installed. The Conservation Area is managed by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs who are working to get it back to its natural state.
