Center of M13

The Hercules Cluster, Messier 13, is relatively close to us: ''only'' 25,100 light years away. Its distance makes it the fourth brightest globular cluster as seen from Earth. It is arguably the most famous because it is so well placed for observers in the Northern Hemisphere.
