Face

In 1976, the Viking orbiter took a picture of a hill that looked kind of like a face. (On the top right.) Some people decided that it actually was a face carved by aliens! Many of those people demanded that NASA send a better spacecraft and get a less blurry picture. Eventually, they did, and here it is. Not many people claim that it's an alien face any more.
