Typhoon Longwang

Typhoon Longwang

Storms in the Pacific Ocean are called typhoons instead of hurricanes. They are often stronger because the Pacific has warmer water than the Atlantic. This typhoon hit Taiwan and mainland China in 2005. Longwang means ''dragon king'' in Mandarin Chinese.
